Master of Science (Computer Science)

This programme is designed for candidates who wish to obtain more knowledge and skills in the area of Computer Science and to become an academician or researcher. Graduates from this programme will have necessary ground to pursue Computer Science at the Doctor of Philosophy level.


  • To produce graduates who are equipped with the ability to independently acquire, develop and apply advanced computer science knowledge and skills to solve problems
  • To prepare graduates to be competent researchers and academicians in areas related to computer science
  • To produce graduates who have the ability to pursue higher qualifications at PhD level


Students should

  • Achieve a total of 42 credit hours with minimum CPA of 3.00
  • Complete 18 credit Core subjects
  • Complete 3 credit University Common Elective
  • Complete 21 credit Master Dissertation
