This program exposes students to power system generation, transmission and distribution, sustainable energy generation and problems related in power system networks. This program provides students with in depth knowledge on power generation, transmission and distribution engineering, including renewable energy generation and sustainability. This program aims to produce knowledgeable human resources, have values of high ethical and professional culture in developing the field of power system engineering.
Programme Structure
The programme has a total of forty-two (42) credit hours consisting of:
a. Six (6) core courses whereby each course carries three (3) credit hours; AND
b. Research Project, twelve (12) credit hours; AND
c. Four (4) elective courses whereby each course carries three (3) credit hours; OR
d. Any other courses offered by UMPEDAC.
